Dear Families,

Welcome to the end of another week, and a relatively brief message this week. It has been fantastic to see the return last weekend of our Saturday sports fixtures, and it is also fantastic to now be looking forward to the return of some live performances in our Performance Hall – albeit socially distanced initially over the coming weeks and months.

The message remains the same in terms of Covid safety; we must keep washing our hands, wearing the masks and following the one-way systems. I would also like to issue a further reminder that students should be doing twice weekly Lateral Flow Tests at home and reporting the results both to the school, and to the NHS Test and Trace system. We are expecting a further delivery of test kits very soon which will be distributed to students as before.

I can also now let you know when year 11 and 13 students will be finishing with us. Year 13 students will finish on Thursday 20^th May, and our Year 11s will have their last day on site on Friday 21^st May. The details of those two days will follow, but both year groups will have a celebration assembly before finishing with us and being dismissed from the site. By this time we will have completed all assessments and the collected the data that we need to generate the Teacher Assessed Grades.

Whilst the weather forecast doesn’t look too promising I hope you all manage to enjoy the long Bank Holiday weekend.
