I have worked professionally for the last eighteen years as a Human Resources (HR) practitioner mainly within the public sector. I have also been a Trustee of a local charity, focused on providing education and vocational opportunities for young adults with learning difficulties.
In the past, I have developed work experience programmes for equivalent Year 10, 11 and 12 young people, providing them with their first taster of the world of work. I am passionately committed to developing young people to achieve their potential.
As a new governor, I am also a member of the People & Community Committee and hope to build on existing, and look at new ways of engaging with families/carers about all things Langley!
On a personal level, I enjoy travelling, socialising with friends and DIY!
